17” Laptop Backpack

A 17” laptop backpack is, clearly, a backpack that you can use to carry around your 17” laptop. Lately, this has become a pretty standard laptop size, and a lot of people now have laptops and notebooks this size.

First of all, it is important to look for a 17” laptop backpack that is actually made for a laptop. You might be able to just find a plain backpack to use, but this would not be ideal. The reason for this is because a normal backpack will not have sufficient padding in the right places with which to protect your laptop.

It is easy for a laptop to get damaged in a backpack with insufficient padding because just the fact that you have your laptop in a bag can cause you to gain a false sense of security and to believe that your laptop is safe, when it actually is not. So, for this reason, make sure that your bag is actually a 17” laptop backpack.

The next thing to consider is that the bag is actually made for a laptop that is 17 inches. If you get a bag that is made for a bigger laptop, then it will allow too much room for your laptop to move around, and could allow your computer to get damaged. But if you get a bag for a smaller laptop, you might not be able to fit your 17 inch notebook into it, therefore rendering it useless. Finally, you need to make sure that the bag in question has room for the other things you need to carry with you. Do you have an external monitor and monitor cables that you like to carry around with you? Do you have a lot of programs that you want to take with you? What about game controllers, or even headsets?

You will probably at least be carrying around something like an AC power cord, and possibly some miscellaneous computer cables...so you are going to need some extra storage room. Make sure that the 17” laptop backpack you are looking at has enough room for the extras that you will want to take with you. If it does not, move on. But if it does, then you just might be in business!

Keeping your laptop safe is a huge priority for the laptop owner, and getting a 17" laptop bag or laptop backpack is one of the best things you can do to fulfill this priority...just make sure that the bag you are buying will do what you need, and you will be fine!
